- Regular financial support of children’s homes and old people’s homes in all parts of Sri Lanka,
- for instance, in Colombo, Trincomalee and Vavuniya
- Financial support of individual students
- Collection and repair of second-hand wheelchairs, walking frames and crutches;
shipment to Sri Lanka and distribution to disabled persons
- Payment of the surgery expenses for an extremely poor young woman who
had suffered a severe accident
- Financing of a three-wheeled moped for a carpenter with an amputated leg,
enabling him to continue in his work
- Support of numerous families over extended periods of time by providing one
warm meal per day
- Financing of so-called “eye camps”, i.e. local eye examinations that include
the individual adjustment of glasses previously collected in Germany
- Collection of second-hand computers and shipment to schools and orphanages
- Long-term support of a severely disabled boy and his grandmother and many others
